Kolumbus K Negro Robusto is a 4 7/8" x 50, medium to full-bodied cigar handmade in La Palma, Canary Islands, with long-filler tobacco from the island's Breña region and a Cuban binder. It sits under a Connecticut wrapper, running about 45 minutes.

It opens bold and earthy with a rich, dark character that builds through the smoke, staying full without turning harsh. It is a robust choice for smokers who want more depth and body from a shorter format.

As you might have noticed, we particularly enjoy experimenting with new exotic flavours. We always light a cigar with great excitement when it originates from a non-traditional country and promises to deliver an interesting mix of tobaccos. We simply cannot resist the thrill of flavorous journeys. Even though the Spanish Islands have a long history of tobacco production, La Palma is not the first region that comes to mind when thinking about cigars.

First, the presentation is impressive. The cigar is beautifully constructed and the black and gold band is infinitely elegant. The Nicaraguan oscuro wrapper is incredibily smooth and smells divine. The seasoning in Spanish cedar cellars confers to this wrapper a distinctive aromatic sweetness. The draw is well judged and the burn even and consistent. Flavours are rich and complex with vanilla, nuts, cedar and truffles. The sweetness is omnipresent from start to finish and the smoke is thick and creamy.

This is a cigar you can easily imagine yourself enjoying on a warm summer night paired with your favourite whiskey.

We dispatch every order using a fully tracked, signed for courier service. Order before 1pm Monday to Friday and we'll dispatch it the same day, typically arriving the next working day.
